December 30, 2004

As we enter a new year, MetroFanatic opens its wish list for anything and everything Metro related. So, in 2005...

To Eddie Gaven: May you continue your rise as one of the best young players in the world.

To Sergio Galvan Rey: May this be the last New Year that you spend with Metro.

To Nick Sakiewicz: May you help get Metro their stadium and prove your worth.

To Richard Codey: May you help get Metro their stadium and prove your worth.

To Clint Mathis: May you enjoy playing in Utah for a coach you actually like... Except when you play the Metros, of course.

To Jeff Agoos: May you never be called "Cowhead" on this website again.

To Eddie Pope: May you rediscover your 2003 form... But only if you stay a Metro.

To Ricardo Clark: May you be healthy for entire year and break into the US national team.

To Mike Magee: May you be healthy for entire year and break into the US national team.

To Michael Lewis and Ives Galarcep: May you continue to be the best two soccer writers in the country.

To Chris Leitch: May you get some more recognition for your stellar play.

To Jonny Walker: May you prove that you are one of the best goalies in the country.

To Tim Howard: May you find a starting job at a major European club to prove that you are one of the best goalies in the world.

To Craig Ziadie: May some English team see in you what we haven't seen in three years.

To John Wolyniec: May you continue to wear your heart on your sleeve and continue scoring goals despite the naysayers.

To Amado Guevara: May you peak at the right time this year.

To Bob Bradley: May your team peak at the right time this year.

To Jeff Bradley: May you continue to plug MetroFanatic... And may you find some hope for your brother's team.

To Jaime Moreno: May you publicly admit how you screwed the Metros in 2003 and 2004.

To DC fans: May you enjoy being second-class citizens in your stadium.

To Metro fans who have left: May you find reason to come back and root for this team gain.

To Metro fans who have stayed: May your 2005 Metro season end better than the nine previous ones.

To MetroFanatic.com: May you be just a little less bitter...
